LYNY & chromonicci premiere a brand new wonky trap track for the FUXWITHIT label, Want
LYNY and chromonicci have respectively been blowing up in the underground bass scene, both coming off of huge releases and collaborations over the course of last year. LYNY‘s been cultivating a massive following for his unique sound design and composition, releasing the highly acclaimed Dash EPas well as touring with Boombox Cartel throughout 2021. chromonicci has had his own set of acclaimed releases like his recent track, Warmth on Chillhop Music, and he’s been further cultivating his niccibounce style with constant releases that have garnered the support of Sam Gellaitry, Mr. Carmack, and many more. Both artists come together to grace all bass fans with their collected efforts on Want, the latest track to drop on FUXWITHIT‘s label. Catch it now down below!
“What’s crazy is I was a huge fan of Christian’s stuff from as early as 2016. Eventually, my buddy Kevin (Cozy Kev) worked with him in 2019-2020 and I think that was when he found my stuff. We connected on socials and he hit me up, and soon after we talked about a collaboration. I sent him an idea and he loved it. Then he went in and absolutely CRUSHED it.” – LYNY
Want is that classic, no-fucks-given trap music nurtured by the purest form of Soundcloud bass production. LYNY and chromonicci take a simple, laser focused, almost robotic aim at trap lasers and bass blasts, and turn it on it’s head over the course of Want. It’s almost like listening to a bass-music study, taking the simplistic, sequence-sounding blips and synth stabs, building tension, then obliterating the simplicity with off-kilter 808 bombs and swinging percussion. It’s a unique take that could only be thought up by the minds of LYNY and chromonicci, both of which can be followed in the links down below, as well as with the fine folks at FUXWITHIT.
