Residing in Connecticut, Matthew Hood better known as, “High Zombie”, has been taking the experimental trap scene by storm. Since debating his first track in 2015 under High Zombie, Matt has cultivated an impressive multi-cultural, international fan base. He is affiliated with Amsterdam’s premier EDM label, ZenSupremacy along with multiple other OG labels. Matt has a concrete track record of consistently delivering hard hitting, stadium style trap bangers. His sound is full bodied and heavy, centered on gut-punching 808’s and snares that slap. Growing up, Matt explained that he was greatly influenced musically by Blink 182, Elvis Costello, The Police, Skrillex, Mr. Carmack, and Kaytranada. Unsurprisingly, High Zombie is a talented drummer of 17 years, as well as, a rap lyricist/writer/poet. It is only a matter of time before we see this ambitious, rising talent headline festivals. Fans have much to look forward to from High Zombie, with his fire EP titled “Occult” dropping soon.

Komodo is a multifaceted, bouncy trap hitter with two jaw clenching, dynamic drops. High Zombie commented in the exclusive SWS interview, “When I wrote this I was recently sober. It was hard and difficult but every day it got better. Komodo’s first drop is heavy and tough, and the 2nd is future bass-y yet still heavy. I put my current reality and feelings into the tune.”
