Sine Wave Surfer’s very own, based out of Washington D.C, Amir Shamin better known as Himmel, is steadily making his own waves in the uprising ‘future beats’ scene. Amir has consistently been putting out hits for the past two years, and began his journey as a producer, 6 years ago. His songs are coated in well-crafted mashups of various textures, and orchestrated beats. Himmel’s sound is integrated with elements of trap, R&B, funk, and glitch-hop. Amir’s music certainly has an underground London, ‘TrapWonk’ feel, emulating such artists as Troyboi and WIZE. Along with being a gifted beat maker, Amir is also skilled in playing the guitar, drums, piano, bass, and saxophone. Amir likes to instill hope within his listeners commenting that he, “Always loves making high energy music that you can go crazy to. I also hope that it inspires people to follow their dreams and get out of shitty situations that they aren’t happy in.” The future is surely looking bright for Himmel, and his evolving music base.

I think it reflects my joy in that moment to finally be out of such a toxic place.” Check out this track below:
“Today” showcases Himmel’s talent to produce hard hitting, layered, eclectic bangers. This one is a real head-nodder. Himmel described the mood when producing this track stating, “This song to me was about living in the moment.
